A fairly generic battle (or danger) song I made for anyone to use, if they like. It's part of a small free-for-use video game song pack I made.
I think I went overboard with the ambience a little bit, haha... Might reupload it later with the reverb turned down a bit, unless people think it sounds good enough like this.

The song lacks a little some thing though. I can't really place my finger on it. For a battle song its almost too quiet if that makes sense. However i feel it would work for what your making it for. Lovely use of all the instruments. I've added this to my fav's for sure! Keep it up!

I know exactly what you mean. It lacks a certain impact! Something that really makes it jump out at points. Guess I still need to play a bit more with volume values, or maybe add in one more instrument at those points.

in :8 it reminds me of FF
I'm pretty sure this song was inspired by FF8's battle theme, even if unconsciously. If it sounds like something from such a quality series I have succeeded. :)
