Well, I haven't submitted a song in nearly five months, and I feel that I have finally composed something worthy of an upload : )
I feel that I put a lot of lovely sounds into this song. I love the wavelengths in here, and I feel that the song structure has a lot of potential.
It's still a bit rough 'round the edges, specifically later on in the song with the final melody, and I'm working on creating a driving bassline to accompany it (like the one Mat Zo used in Ellipse. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the song, but it's absolutely wonderful, and I gained inspiration for the final section of this song from it. I highly recommend it; it can be found on Anjunabeats Volume 7 (the artist name is Activa pres. Solar Movement).
Anyways, this song has really tired me out, and I'm going to take a break from it to work on a little dub hip-hop project of mine. I will look to finish it later when my mind is clearer, so I can give it a proper ending (by ending I mean final minute, not just 10 seconds).

In short, the beginning part was awesome but the rest of the song doesn't quite live up to it. I love those chords in the pad you used, and combining it with that clap and hihat sounds great. I don't quite get the shift/control thing, but it sounds cool haha.
Once it quieted down, I kept waiting for it to come out into a big hit with maybe a tempo increase. It did change, but it took too long. The last part needs a little work I think, you did imply that this was a work in progress so I think you should add a lead synth in there carrying a melody. And instead of having it build for a couple bars then go back down a few times, the whole thing should be building the whole time up until where the song ends now. And then for that ending you're talking about... I don't know haha just make it sound cool, you clearly have the skill.
So I probably over-did that. But I'm really hearing a lot of cool stuff in this, and I'd like to hear it when you've put that ending on it. Shoot me a PM when you finish it :D

Thanks for the advice, I might shorten the middle part. The majority of work I've got left to do on this is the lead synth at the end. I really like the -pause-kick- section, but I need to look to add a melody from there. I'll be sure to shoot you a PM if I ever get this finished, as I have an awful of leaving works in progress unfinished. Once again, thanks for taking the time to review, it means a lot.
