Here is a song I wrote in a couple hours. The first couple minutes are styled to just sound neat, 1:30 is my favorite part. I tried a lot of new things with this one and I think it turned out pretty well. It's inspired a lot by Infected Mushroom. For once, I think I did them justice. :D

A few of the things I used in this track:
-Automating the Oscillator frequency of phasers, to give a cool sounding wobble effect.
-64th note kick fade-ins to transition from one part to another with a neat rushing buzz effect.
-Faded in distortions and reverb to add depth as the song progresses.
-Used Gross Beat to create patterned gates for some sounds. Gross Beat helps a lot with figuring out the right rhythm, even if you've already got the melody.
-Quickly automating reverb to give a fast build effect (only one or two bars long), adds a lot of tension.
-Spent A LOT of time using Parametric EQ on all my instruments, making sure they all come through clearly, and in the right proportions.

Any questions, feel free to PM me or e-mail me at vampiricllama@gmail.com

Enjoy!

Nice!

3:30 and on is definitely my favorite part of the song. Nice job on this one. *nods head to beat*

This.

Is highly relevant to my interests. I have trouble pointing out anything that really needs improvement, because it has nice even levels of epicality. I think the best part was at 3:50-ish when the bombinating melodies came in and blew my eyebrows off! Yes. I can hear parametric EQ in place. Good. Very good.

vampiricLLAMA responds:

Thanks ^ ^ the bombinating melodies are the result of 3xOsc with some filters and gross beat gating it :D
