This was one of the tracks I worked on last summer and was finally able to finish the mastering now.
I hope you enjoy. It isn't quite Jazz but I felt that it was the genre that best suited this track on newgrounds.

I love this dope beat this, sounds like a Nujabes piece, very beautiful and very zenful, I love the oriental flavor to this smooth rhyme, keep this up. I want to hear more music Like this. I can picture myself walking in a grassy field with a samurai sword, then having an honorable battle with a strange samurai with a giant straw hat on, Duel of the fates.
Nujabes I love the artists they choose for their record label.
Samurai champloo by far being one of my top fav animes specifically for musical taste.
Thanx for your review it actually helped remind me of the mindset I had when writing this track. That reinspiration will help in the remastering of this track soon to come.

very calming, mellow, and the piano is nice :)
For when you come back to this track and refurbish it I have one thing about this song that bothers me. That one high note on the piano at 1:12. That is the only thing I would completely remove from this song is that one note, because one that hits it totally take me out of the "chillaxin' " mood of the song and take me a good 5 seconds to get back into it.
Other than that, I know when you make time for it you will greatly improve this song :)

Sorry for such a late response. I plan to remaster this song this year. I had no idea so many people actually enjoyed this track.
Problem is that I got so frustrated with this song when i was writing it cause I just couldnt figure out what I dont like about the track and I think the mastering I did was a mangled mess of confusion.

Perfect...
Just a perfect track, I found this relaxing, it would be nice listening to this when you're in a long car ride, at a low volume, driving, or staying at home in winter, with a warm chocolate beverage. Hmmmm, reeally nice. =D
Your review honestly I am very thankful for and apologize to responding so late due to my absence in rebuilding my studio.
I do plan to revise this track one more time since everytime I touch it up in mastering I feel like I loose parts of it that I love and that the sound gets to full.
I might post an extended remastered version when I have time to invest in this project.
