Jumped too high, started spiraling out into the cosmos. Almost hit Earth. Waved good-bye to Venus then, drifted for Mercury, towards the Sun.

EnigmaticWolf's Greater Shadow

The direction I took in life is the only direction there was left to take. I questioned what is to be questioned:

Complexity

Simplicity

Everything

Nothing

A journey that I do not seek, but live to be.

Clouded judgment is the farthest judgment one could ever attain. Understanding, and will is how we make of what we do become aware of.

Haha, wow.

I've been perusing through your song list, stumbled upon the 8-bit pieces scattered throughout your glitchy repertoire and must say that so far, this is a personal favorite of mine.

I know the world is moving outside of the shell that this song puts me in but it's as if I can't feel it. That or this song makes the movements around me too easy to ignore.

For a second I could have sworn I was floating face up in the stars, following the flow of the milkyway..

GAH!

Darn you! :3

(I wish I could make my comments more constructive but.. eh.. it's hard when personally I feel that, musically, you're on higher ground.)

Howdy-hey!

What's crackalackin'? Stumbled onto this (like a boss) and the chances are very likely that I'll start combing through the rest of your songs.

I'm a sucker for anything 8-bit, least of all anything poetically 8-bit. Your little blurb in the comments just sort of sealed the deal for me. That's the sort of winsome feeling I have when I listened to the song, put briefly in a few sentences.

Gotta respect someone with that ability.

I don't need oxygen up here! I don't need sound! I just need the lights, and the stars, right?

Lapse responds:

Thats excellent to hear (this is the second review i'm coming across, so I look forward to scrolling down my song list). I do hope all the tracks have something interesting that climbs into your ears.

Love me some 8-bit melodies as well.

lights and stars for sure.

How'd I miss this?

I listen to your songs every day, and I'm just now hearing this one. The 8-Bit has to be the best I've heard from you, and that percussion.....OMG.

The atmosphere this track produces is so unexpected. It's got a very despondant, hopeless feel to it, but it's still relaxing, like someone who's accepted the fact that he's going to die in the blackness of space.

It's wierd, but it does nothing to dull this song's brilliance.

Lapse responds:

Thats really great to hear man. I'm glad you find time in your day to hear me out. I love 8-bit sounds. They're really great. Pure waves of sorts.

I'm glad you get that from the song. It's exactly what I was going for.

Weird is a forte of mine I might say.
