Okay, so I know I said that last time I posted this song would be the last time I submitted a mix of it to NG, but I guess I'm a dirty, rotten liar.

This version is completely redone from the 4-on-the-floor up. Some new synths and a more balanced equalizer make this song a completely new approach to an old classic of mine. =)

@FightingSeraph

No, this IS popular out of NG, a good example is the WiiViewer. Also, you posted the comment on my bday.

And if even the WiiViewer likes it (I mean at least we ought to give him a chance at techno!) It's not that stable, but if we both like it, with very different views on things, then everyone must like it. Because.. umm... Michael Bolton (you spell it like that?) yeeeeh....

But EF deserves a 11/10 ten cuz its S0 4W3S0M3 Y3@h!!!1!!!1!!!!!!!!1!

I am picky. I am APXypher. That, is me.

Your intro(0:00~0:24) surely rocks and it has a good beat, but some issues get this down to 8.
First, the file size, WTF? You got a behemoth size of 6.7MB for a three minutes track, what the! And most of your other parts was not as good as the first tune, but it was still good.

Marvelous job, Elite Ferrex

It's too bad this was used in only one submission, because this could be used in:
-A Castlevania Flash game
-Any Game by MaelstormM (The Megaman Next guy)
-A Montage sequence.
But enough of that, here's the review:
Now, I may not have heard the original songs that this was based on, but that has not affected my enjoyment of this under appreciated gem. Truth be told, I'm not that much into reviewing music, but I do recognize a great song when I hear it. The instrumentation, while common in this type of music, complemented the energetic nature of this song. This, of course, shows your knowledge of musical tempo and how it was implied. As for the composition/score, you have lots going on that makes this sound like a winner. Unfortunately, the most notable problem is the file size: for a three-minute song, 6.7 Megabytes seems a bit ludicrous.

What I did like:
-Energetic
-Great composition and tempo
-Clever use of sound samples

What I didn't like:
-Huge filesize for something that's almost three minutes.

Overall: For somebody known for VG remixes and kick ass ones at that, here's your ten.

Very cool

I do not know of the original "Omega", but this was a fantastic song to listen to in its own right. It almost seems as though you were trying to imitate "Mega Man" music. There were some parts in the middle that had a small technologic feeling to them. As it goes on, it even seems to have a sort of jazzy feel to it. For whatever style it is, it is a great one that incorporates a feeling of adventure and ambition. It could have used a little more variety, but still great because of how fast-paced it is.

EliteFerrex responds:

The original "Omega" was a song I submitted under the title Elite Ferrex. I was making it simultaneously with another song, Alpha, which I never submitted. THe two songs went together, Alpha and Omega. (See track entitled Alpha and Omega for original mesh.)
