I grew tired of endless thumping in my ears in a club one night, and I thought to myself, "There really isn't a lot of chilled, relaxing songs that I can sit down and listen to without having to get up and jump up and down continuously for 5 minutes or so" (Yes, friends, I actually thought that). So, as the saying goes, if you want something done...
As my understanding of the program grew, I sampled a few loops instead of using full ones (they get a bit repetitive, don't they?) and consequentially, the drum beats and the nature sounds are the only full loops used in the process. I think that's an achievement for a first song :)
You may have noticed the title - I had lyrics but I'm not the best voice-over artist, and as simplicity is the order of the day, I thought it best to leave them out. And anyway, it adds to the mystery of my creation.

Please rate sensibly and most of all enjoy, without the thumping.

Made using GarageBand and assorted sampled loops

Solid song

I really like this song. The nature sounds can, in my opinion, detract from the song at points, but overall it's well done. It does shine through that this is a fairly early attempt on your part, but it's nothing to be scoffed at.

Nakisima responds:

Meh, it was the culmination of curiosity and excitement about getting a computer that could do this kind of stuff; I just went mad with it :P Seriously, it sounded a shit load better when I'd just finished it, now it's quite crappy compared to what I can do now. But the next upgrade isn't the computer, it's the program :) Garageband is going to hell when I get FL or Logic. Thanks,

-Nakisima

Nice

It sounds interesting, if not a tad clippy. Nature-y sounds are a good touch. I'd like to hear more!

Nakisima responds:

Well hear more you may, the drop down menu to your left holds everything I ever created, good and bad. If I'm honest mostly bad, but crucial to developing my understanding of the program I am using to this day. You learn from making mistakes after all :P Thanks,

-Nakisima
