This is my rendition of the well-known Ladytron song, "Seventeen."

I'm a huge Ladytron fan, and this has always been one of my favorite songs. I started this track just for fun, but I really got into it and this is the final result.

Enjoy.

Awesome.

I think I might be a ladytron addict now. Thanks!

This song is great in its own right, I couldn't say I prefer one or the other. Great work.

hey cool

But it's kinda cheap to make a remix, but hey just don't thump me down for saying that :O
So I like it, but man it's a remix so meh...

snayk responds:

I'm going to go ahead and thump you down for saying that.

This is NOT A REMIX. This is a cover.

Not one piece of this song contains ANY samples of the original track. I used software synths for just about everything (except the vox, which were recorded live with my talk box); the only samples to be heard are the individual drum samples (kick, snares, hats, shaker, toms) which I programmed myself (no drum loops).

Think and listen a little bit before you knock something down for being "cheap." I put effort into this, and it's not a carbon copy, which may actually have given you something to boo about.

I was looking at your other songs, this is my favorate by far, make more like this please.

Would it be ok for me to use this in an animation at collage?

snayk responds:

Heh - I suppose I can keep that in mind. It's been a while since I really made dance-oriented music like this, but I do enjoy it. I guess we'll see what comes out of my head.

I have no problem with you using the track for your animation.
