This song is called "Mo!" I wrote it. Guitar / Bass done through Line 6 POD Studio UX2, I used an ESP LTD EC-1000 for guitar, and an Ibanez GSR-200 for bass. Drums and synth were done on FL Studios 9.
All recording was done on Adobe Audition 3.0. Thank you for listening,
Enjoy.

Well, nothing to do with the other Mo!

Ahah, I prefer this one to the other Mo!, way much heavier and melodic!
Like others ppl said, the drums are forgotten, the guitar solo are really loud compared to the rythm guitar.
I can hear some accoustic guitar/synth around 1:00 and it may get interesting to get more part like that in a full lenght song, you know, like those death/black metal band.
But it's ok, you said that's some old song, so I think you know what you're doing your new songs ;)

ChioBam responds:

The issue with me is, when I get around to the end, I get lazy and begin to rush the process, so I didn't do so great with leveling out the sounds, which is why I made the revised version of this song. I'm going to have to be working on this guy for a while :P, thank you for your feedback!

i can see what you mean!

the volume thing...and the timing if like a millimeter off. i have that problem too. like you said. but i'd say giving the drums more of a role in this song and making a nice beat...but this has potential!

ChioBam responds:

This is the older version of the song :P, but thank you for the review, I'm considering removing this version all together, but I like keeping it up for reference purposes.

Suggestions...

I htink the timing of the drums is off a bit, and you need to turn up the guitar! Stronger bass and overall more loudness, the drums are just to dominant.

ChioBam responds:

Thank you very much for your feedback, this is exactly what I wanted: constructive criticism. I had a lot of trouble balancing the sound, since I'm very new to balancing so many sounds between drums / guitar / bass / synth.

<EDIT>

The bass is now louder, the drums are now lower, and I agree that was needed. Thank you.
