Track 17 of "The Hero of Time" Official Soundtrack
Music composed by George R. Powell

This piece takes place after Link has traveled into the future, and wandering in the rain, finds refuge at Talon's ranch. As they sit to eat dinner, Talon and his wife and (other) daughter talk about how much the Gerudo have oppressed them. During the conversation, he brings up that Malon was murdered during the raids that took place when the Gerudo overran Hyrule.

The music changes to something darker when Link has a dream that night about Malon's death, and he wakes up to the screams of Talon's wife and daughter as they're being beaten by Gerudo soldiers. He then rushes out to their rescue, slaying every last one of them.

Almost everything in this piece is 100% original, but there are some elements like a very rough rendition of the main LoZ theme run into it (with some notes skipped because I felt they wouldn't flow well with the way the music was naturally moving).
