So it's been a while!
I had a 14-day window of time to submit a new piece, and I know a few of you had requested I look into "Tales of Symphonia."
So here you go!
When I first heard the song, I immediately thought of Colette; so I took inspiration from the character, which makes the lyrics make a tiny bit more sense--they are in Latin though, so don't have a hissy fit ^_^
The original is only 1:07min long, and there wasn't a whole lot to work with. So I switched up a bit of the harmonies as you may or may not notice.
But I hope you enjoy it regardless.

Wonderfully done
I am still a huge fan of ToS. You have done a tremendous job on fitting Colette's character. Another character that I truly feel only you could do proper justice to would be Kratos. Just a suggestion ^_^

Aboslutely Beatiful
This song is absolutely beautiful.
It is very calm... very relaxing... very soothing...
I love the vocals in this song.
The song makes me think of that wind temple, and at the end it makes me think of a world full ticking and stopped clocks.
I can recall hearing this song somewhere in the game but I don't remember where. :/

Thank you. I could've worked the levels on the vocals a little better, but my Microphone wasn't the best, and... well, no excuses.

Words cannot express...
I absolutely have no idea how to sstart this out. I can say that I love this song. It has a mysterious side while also having a soothing type feel. It has a gentle touch on one's ear, and makes you want to listen on and on and on. I listened to it four times, and loved it more each one. And each time I listened to this masterpeice, I would think of Collette. I guess the point was driven through.
I think that this is a very good entry into Newgrounds. It's better than a lot of other songs I've heared, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You deserve more than a measely 10/10. You should pursue this style and make it your own, and on behalf of what I've seen other people say, we would all much appreciate more songs similar to this one.
Sorry if this is too long. I would say a lot more, but I don't want to delete other people's kind and considerate comments. Thank you for posting this here, and good luck with the other songs, we'll be waiting. ;)

Beautiful
I see Collette standing in Flanoir at midnight, watching the snow fall silently onto the city. Next to her, I see Presea. The two of them are hand in hand, both knowing what Fate holds, and neither saying a word. Collette wants to cry, but because of the Angel Toxicosis, she can't. Presea cries silently for her, even as the snow landing on the Chosen of Sylverant's face melts away into trails of wetness that resemble the trails of tears.
Maximum scores, my friend. I only hope that in the future, you decide to create more tunes that instill images of Sylverant and Tethe'alla.

Trip down memory lane
Hahaha man, I remember when I first finished the game, I fell in love with that track, looked everywhere for it and was so dissappointed at how short it actually was. It's a very powerful piece and you do it justice. The extension sounds very natural and just blends in perfectly with the original score.
So, kudos! It's a shame we can't really make out the lyrics. Either that or the fact that I know nothing of latin makes it impossible for me to make out what you're saying. All the same, more power to you!
Keep making these, you're brilliant and you've got a terrific voice.
lol I'm always so cautious to make any lyrics in English, because I don't want to betray the game in some way. But I am getting more and more requests to do things in English, so I may just do one in the future!
