Needs a better script

Seriously, the pauses are far too long in this piece. It makes you sound like a bumbling moron. When you go to the more 'musical' aspect of the piece, it gets even worse, in all honesty. If you're going to try and get a musical piece together, you might want to get an artist, who can eidt music and get them to make a Bill Bailey style "Drum & Bush" piece from your vocal ramblings.

I think that this issue is as dicey as every other prediction that the world will end from the year 2000 onwards and there seem to be so many people trying to jump on the bandwagon. The bane of modern technology, I guess. About the only good thing that you put in here was the end "2012 - the year where nothing happened".

When the guy yells "The Mayans are everywhere!", you need to edit that sound better, as it's a little high on the speakers, so that you have to react and turn down the piece.

Other than that, get a pop guard, to remove the sharpness of the Ps and Ts off the speech.

Tateos responds:

I'm actually working on those problems right now. (Bumbling moron was the point, but those pauses are too long).
As for the musical piece, this was the first thing I ever did with the program. I'm a bit more experienced now, and I'm trying to figure out how to make that part sound good.

Not that good

Well, I can see what you wanted to achieve with this, but to be honest, this isn't too good. The acting is quite bad. If you try to let people who believe in "2012" look stupid you should practice that before you record this.
The pauses in between are far too long and the stuttering sounds unnatural.

Towards the end, where you mix various voices together it all gets too loud. There are quite a lot static noises in that part, so I would advice you to keep your mouth farther away from the mic. When you raise your voice you should make sure to not be too loud or you should turn down the record volume. Also, you should listen to what you recorded and try to re-record parts where you have statics.

Tateos responds:

The mic I have isn't great, so the static came no matter how far away I held it.

As for it being to loud, I did notice that. I'm trying to fix it without the part at the beginning being too quiet.

I do agree with you on the pauses, I think I'm going to cut those down. Some of them were on purpose, but some where because I couldn't think of what to do next. (The entire thing was unscripted.)

Yeah, I'm definitely going to clean it up a bit.

Clean it up a bit?

Uhh really can't comprehend this too well. I mean honestly, yes you're trying to sum up 2012 but you keep breaking a lot, were you smoking pot or something? Sheesh, you could have at least edited this to where it had less breaks in it, aside from that I really can't review this too well.

Tateos responds:

Breaking?
I'm not sure what you were talking about.

Edit: I know what you mean now. I did that on purpose, I was trying to make people who believe in it seem stupid and unlogical.

Tateos responds:

I'm glad you liked it.

2012 is probably one of the stupidest ideas I have ever heard.
