Okay, so, after purchasing FL Studio Producer Edition, I've finally had some time to sit down with a single track and put some thought and devotion into making it. This is the first tune I've managed to come up with that's (in my opinion) worth posting to the internet. It took about 10 hours to complete, and all sounds are made with Sytrus, 3xOsc (actually, just the bass synth) and free VSTs included in Producer Edition, except for Maximus, which I used for mastering.

Fans of Basshunter might notice a striking similarity between this and some of his earlier work, with the main difference being that my synths suck compared to his and this song does not include his pretty voice singing about video games. Before you get up in arms about copyright infringement, however, I'd like to assure you that none of the melodies. sounds, drums, or even chord progressions* (*that I'm aware of) are taken from Basshunter's work.

EDIT: Upon listening, it appears that the file was compressed in such a way that the bass comes through too strong and the mid range is muddled a lot. I'll try and find some way of getting around that soon. Maybe tomorrow.
