I think i'm going to be entering a sort of mini-hiatus... Which is a good thing, because it means that my creativity is challenging itself to grow. I worked really hard on the rhythm and melodies on this song, and yet it is still missing something, which means I'm temporarily losing the drive to compose, until I can figure out what it is, thus a hiatus.

Anyways, a bit of an obvious name for this piece. The last 2 or 3 minutes flips to a classical choir/voice style, so Miscellaneous is the only place it can go without being ridiculed.

I hope you enjoy this piece,

Hmmmm

From what I've heard of your techno-like songs so far I think this is my favorite. It's something I think that might go to the end-credits something to like a really awesomely sweet movie. Lol

Aeris responds:

Thanks again hon, i've got a song to go with it that's kinda an anxiety-type piece.

Thanks for the review :D

Gorgeous!

When it first started playing, I wasn't expecting anything this awesome, but when it hit the key-change, it was like BAM!

Aeris responds:

haha, awesome, thanks :D

Very good

The choir melody after the techno started was a bit obscure for this piece, in my own opinion. However, after it got going there were no other obscure melody moments, haha.

I am also a fan of the constructive chords your using. They give a very nice and "angelic" sound to this piece overall. Great transitions from the choral to techno and back again. I also liked the bass drum at the end, although after a few measures of it, I thought you could have brought in a harder attack like you have going on beats 2 and 4 after the techno fades out and the voices come back in (if you know what I am talking about).

Overall, great piece. I enjoyed listening to it. There IS something missing, but it does not diminish the piece at all. I liked it a lot. I hope your hiatus brings you much creativity, because I DEFINITELY want to hear more of your stuff!

Cheers!

This is a really good review ^^

I do admit, the techno/choir isn't really meshing too well but I think it's because my mind couldn't decide if it wanted to do either or, rather than what I wanted to do was mesh them seamlessly, but it has its moments i'll admit where it's smooth.

I'm glad you enjoyed the chords, they're one of the things I put the most intricacy in, or most attention to i should say. I understand what you mean by the bass drum and I think I have an idea that'll satisfy that.

Thanks for this amazing review :D btw, I always respond to reviews if you've sent any others around. ^^
