Its 2012
And the end approaches.... good job on the apocalyptic feel of the song.

Always a critic
Given what you had to work with, you did a fantastic job of recreating the atmosphere created by the original. However, there were a couple things I noticed in turning up the volume. First, when it loops back around, the timing is off, horribly. Secondly, at the end, and the very begining for just a second, the volume makes dramatic changes that take away from the overall quality of the whole piece. The ambience you threw in was magnificent, given that it was your own personal touch. Other than the two things listed, your submission was fantastic. Basically, the same thing that the guy before me said.
Also, I too have paused the game and turned the volume up on my tv just to listen to this song. It is eerily relaxing, yet at the same time it fills you with that sense of dread that tells you the end is near. A story told by sound, THAT'S what music should be about. But, that's my opinion. Take it as you will.
You're right, there will always, always be a critic.
...but I wish every critic was like you!
Thanks for your thoughtful review and fair scoring of my song!
This song is so dramatic and soothing at the same time, it's crazy!

Well
I know it would be hard to replicate but the only thing this song is missing is the lunarish sounding bits, but the rest is golden.
love this song
