So at the beginning of the school semester, my Astronomy 200 professor told us that he would make us an assignment that would grade us based on a song that we created by the end of the year, which he ended with a chuckle.
I thought he was joking, as he is a very comedic and mirthful professor.
Well, I was sadly mistaken. Just yesterday, he told us that we should remember our songs are due the next day! I was very shocked and started to panic, because I realized that it takes me over a month to come up with a new song. I only just uploaded a new song two days ago, so that means I wouldn't expect to pump another out until maybe early-mid January. As soon as I got back to my room, I started ~immediately~. Brainstorming and sticking a vacuum cleaner in my ear to suck out some inspiration from deep within my mind were only just a few of my methods.
After 5 hours of trial and error, and 4 complete file restarts (Yes, I scrapped my song 4 times and started again because it didn't sound right), I finally created this happy, starry tune.
Because I've used so much mind power to upload two songs in the last few days, I'm likely not going to be able to produce another one for quite a while, so please excuse my possible long absence!
For this song, I don't really mind if there are no reviews. The only review I need is from my professor and the other students listening to it in class.
(But feel free to review if you'd like!)
And I just realized how much it sounds like Pachelbel's Canon...
