This was an arranging project for arranging 1 at Berklee. We had to take a song and arrange it for a drastically different style for Drums, Bass, Keys and Guitar. So for this I did a reharmonization of a tune I'm sure most gamers will know. The original was by Kojo Kondo.
Awesome adaptation.
Although the production is a little underdone, musically this hits all the right notes so to speak. A fantastic interpretation of a classic tune that sounds totally authentic in its new genre. I'm a big fan of VGM "remixes" as well. Solid.
9/10 for lack of a fuller production sound! Of course, it was for an assignment so I guess it's no biggie :)
