I really like my song 'The Thorn in the Cloud Pt. I', and I though it would make good ambient music, so I extended it and made it a little different.

I hope you like this one. This song really reflects my emotions at the time.

Don't forget to vote, and I'd love to hear from you, so review if you have something to say.

P.S. If you want to use this, or any of my music, in you flash submission, just give me a PM and I'll totally let you :D

Very good ambient piece.

A good metric for measuring an ambient piece is how long one can or does listen to it before turning it off, with excessive extra points if one forgets that they are actively listening to a song.

As of writing this, I believe I listened to it looping without noticing for a good 40 minutes.

It is an outstandingly nice, calm piece to have in the background, which is exactly what I look for in ambient work.

Thank you for sharing it.

AdventureBiscuit responds:

Thankyou very much for the review.

I'm really glad you like it. I'm happy that it works as an ambient piece. I thought it might be a little too... I dunno, intruding to listen to as a song, which is exactly what an ambient song should probably aim to not be.

Again, I'm very happy you like it. Feedback like this is what keeps my faith in my work :)

Conveniently ambient

Perfect title for this track. I noticed some elements that seemed to honor the 16-bit RPG era (don't know if you were going for that, but that's what flashed first across my mind). It seems so distant and partially gloomy with drops of hope and promise of brighter days. You're a genius, if that was your true intention.

You've intepreted well; the way you've described the feel of this song is perfect, especially 'drops of hope'. I'm glad you like it. I'm also glad you like the title too; when I first named it, it took me ages to get the right words to describe the theme in my head.

Oh, and the 16-bit thing: I didn't intend it to be like that, but i can kinda see what you mean. Sometimes cool things happen by coincidence :D

Thanks for the awesome score!
