My updated character demo reel for November! Featuring an amalgamation of different character voices with no cohesive story connecting them--to do so and keep a variety of emotions and characters in such a time frame would make it a most schizophrenic experience...maybe another time!

Any comments on improving what can be heard here, or suggestions as to what elements may be missing, would be much appreciated!

Good voices

Some very good voices in here. The first voice we can hear sounds a bit like Barry from the first Resident Evil. I was almost expecting to hear something like "you where almost a Jill Sandwich!". :D

Anyway, some of the voices sound very much alike, but on the other hand... they are all spoken by the same guy, right? ;)

I like how you can change your voices so quickly. For example the last voice we can hear changes from "world domination mode" to a quite confused and disappointed voice because the character forgot how he called his ultimate weapon.

I'll have to work some more on making unique, differentiable characters. That last voice is probably my favorite; it reminds me of something I might see on Robot Chicken (short, simple). Thanks for the review!

Nice work

While I'm not a fan of the traditional voice acting reel, there is some good work here and you can certainly hear that you mean business, with your vocal work.

Some of the writing is very good, though I would like to see that extrapolated, giving people a chance to see if you could produce something completely - perhaps give us a radio commercial or two, but it's down to sorting out what you think you need and then producing the voices to match, which is the easy bit for someone like you ;)

I shall have to create something in the future extending the writing beyond brief character clips; a commercial demo would actually be something exactly along those lines. Thank you for the review!

Silly and serious. D:

This is just pure utter nonsense for the most part, could have provided us the story description in the author comments so we understand what's going on.

It sounds like they are in a computer room near a prison and trying to convince someone to come with them. Sounds very odd.

This is just an odd piece and then some weird guy comes in and tries t ostop them at the end.

CalaveraVA responds:

There is actually no story to this (though it's interesting to see someone come up with one), as such there is no description of one in the comments. It is just a compilation of different character voices. I shall clarify that in the description then. Thank you!
