I wrote a song.
Recorded it.
Mastered it.
Saved it.
Loved it.
...Then a power surge owned my ext HDD. X(

So this is a tribute to Miles Apart. This is a trance remix with what demo samples I could find saved to my PC. (which is all of like.. 4 lol.) You get to hear them toward the end of the song.

Turned out great. Vote fair pls! :)

Excellent song in my opinion. But I do agree with MrFijiWiji about the kick. That's the only thing I can think of...
Also, just a little of my input here, I think you don't get the publicity you deserve. You are quite talented and I look forward to hearing what else you have in store.

Great job
Downloaded & fav'd :D

I've been loling at your sarcastic responses below. your hilarious dude... I love the song. Great steady bass. the synth that comes in just about before 2:00 is my favorite part. You have a great voice so plz stop hiding behind the autone plz. Very well transitioned and phrased. Next time use a lower pitched kick. In my opinion a kick drum should go "boom" not "clack"... btw when i record cover the microphone with a tissue or paper towel to cut back on feedback and static. and if ur on a tight budget i found that a rockband microphone is pretty decent..Great song keep up the good work and keep me posted plz!

Thank you MrFijiWiji, you've given me a lot to think about.
I'll be trying your tissue technique next time.
Great review.

Very Nice Yeeess

I like the bit at the end. The bit in the middle was good too. And also that bit at the start.

JaredW responds:

Thanks iam0g, thoes three areas were my favourites too. ;)

And I suppose that's key to writing good music - one must always edevour to not make it sounds like cat rape in any of thoes three aras.

Thanks for your review!

Ah short and sweet, was looking forward to a little more feed back, but as long as I have membership on NG (and provided I am still of course breathing/non-paraplegic) theres always the next song. ;)

But I'll pretend you said "AWESSOME, but whats with the white noise when the guitar fades in?"

Well, Backbash, I'm glad you asked. :)

My microphone has been raped. It is very quiet and my noise removal software makes the guitar sound like its been recorded at 60kbps. Go the mighty free version of 'Audacity', right!?

So I can't get rid of it entirely, I have however reduced the high frequency noise where it affected it the most.

Thanks for voting dude!
