You took a happy Christmas song and gave it a Requiem for a Dream vibe. So good. Unff.

Very good remix

I think that this piece is a very accomplished piece of work, taking a classic that has been used is so many ways over the years and then giving it a new lease of life. Perhaps it would have been beneficial to add some lyrics to it, but as it stands at present, you've got a damn fine sound as we are.

The piano was brilliant and it made the tune instantly recognisable, since a change of the instrument would have taken away from it so much, like playing a brass piece on a guitar, for example.

With how the beat comes in, it doesn't really drown out the piano and it goes so far as to actually compliment it, which is a fantastic step. Perhaps you could have gone for a modern solo and cut the piano out for a while, to let the hip hop show through and then bring the piano back in to place.

Nice

This song is really good. Everything fits together just fine, even though you have quite an unusual mix of synths and other instruments here. Also the mixing is done in a very good way. Everything can be heard just fine, without anything overpowering any other instrument.

Somehow this song reminds me a bit of the movie score to "Requiem for a Dream", but I don't know why I feel reminded of that particular score. ^^

Anyway, very nice song!

Merry mother fuckin' christmas

Dude, Santa's goin' gangsta lol! It's funny how your usual "saw" synths (0:42) or whatever work extremely well on this song, it works good with your usual songs, but with this one it gives it a real "mother fuckin' gangsta" feeling to it, probably the fact you mixed a calm piano piece with a violent synth, hip-hop beat, your the expert, you tell me. This is the sort of song, which I really like, but doesn't create any scenes in my head unless if I really dig deep, but it's more fun when a song naturaly creates a scene in my head without me digging (like your song "Dooby", remember that one...? =P).
I would'nt go on a 10/10 because, althought I really like this song, first I like to get critical =P, and second, it's not like one of those songs that make me wanna jump out to sky and scream, but don't worry, your Karousel usually do that to me.
That's all from me dude, keep Santa a gangsta!
