This is my 5th piece in FL Studio; It is a tribute to the Challenger spacrecraft which plummeted to the Earth, killing all its astronauts. I hope you like it, and please write a review!

UPDATE TO V4:
-More mixing changes

Interesting

A strange choice of musical blend to lend to this particular piece - I love the vocal sample, but it sounds quite upbeat and quickly paced to be tragic as we all know the Challenger disaster was.

I think that as we listen to the vocals, there was a feeling of loss there, but this could have been put into perspective with the music by some sort of slower solo that stepped away from the pace of the beat and allowed people to come to terms with a tangible sense of grief and loss that this scenario embodies.

Thanks for the review. I was hoping that someone would take the review from an emotional angle so I could see how my artistic viewpoints were being presented. The synth was supposed to symbolize the moment that the craft took off, the piano break symolizes the error. The synth playing muffled behind the piano shows how the crowd below was unaware at first, then when it all comes together, the synth becomes pandimonium, and the piano still resembles tragedy. After the tragedy is over, the pandimonium continues, and the speech fades back in. Thank you for the reveiw.

Nice tribute

The atmosphere of this song is very good. It's a fitting atmosphere for a tribute and also the idea of adding parts of Reagan's speech is a good one.

However, the song is a bit too short in my opinion and there isn't happening too much. Also, it all seems to be very quiet, some instruments can hardly be heard, which is a pity.

So I think you should try to mix this a bit better and also try to make the song longer.

Thanks for the review. It seems I have some trouble actually making a song long enoygh, eh? As for the mix, until 2 weeks ago, I hadn't even figured out how to use the mix, so that will get better with time. Thanks again for the review!

Strange

Well I don't see what Bush speaking has to do with the tune unless this was meant to be a music video of some sort, it sounds pretty good after Bush stops talking in the intro segment.

Drums: All I hear are the kicks, pretty cool actually.

Synth: Sounds amazing.

Overall: Not too bad but could be improved a bit I guess. Make it longer.

The speaker during the speech is Ronald Reagan. He is giving a speech on The Challenger space craft. Thanks alot for the review; I don't see many of them on my stuff. I'll try to work on some of the stuff you mentioned :)
