Oscillator Z - Nightcrawler

Our newest song. This one took around a week. Not much to write about this one. I kinda like this ambient form of dubstep,

Enjoy, rate and review!!!

And we are fairly new to dubstep, so tell us what you think.

"pretty good"

i dont like dubstep really, but this does sound good for a dubstep song

lol i know some of those VEC synths

the bass though, i think you shuld drop some of the highs in it, cuz it sounds like it rattles or somthing, idk realy how to describe it, you probably know what im talking about

your getting a nine from me, on a dubstep song, thats saying somthing

i like the ambient-clashing-with-industrial feel of it, i think thats why it sits so well with me

Author's Response:

The bass might sound rattly because your bad speakers are rattling to the frequencies it cuts off. MAYBE

I don't see why else you would think that

"Pretty awesome stuff"

I gotta say, I like the motif here, and the ambience goin on. I know this is probably gonna sound a little critical, but through my bass-biased headphones, I felt like your bass coulda been just a little louder. I love it's deep wobbly sound, though, and I don't think I've ever heard anyone do 32nd notes on it like ever, even among the big names, so props to you man. another thing is, i wish the snare wasn't so blasty; i felt like it shoulda had more of a "rip" or a "clap" quality. something i've discovered that works really well is layering a pitch-modified clap with a few other snare sounds. it gets this tone about it that's basically unbeatable. with that said, this is pretty sick, and i look forward to your future dubstep endeavors! i'm new to the style too, but you gotta admit, anything that blends the harshness of a metal breakdown with dnb techno is pretty badass!
