"Another Great song."

For those having problems with bass booming, download the mp3 version of the file, It fixed some of it when I played it in my actual audio player, I dont have studio speakers so I get a little bit of crackling. Love your transition from slow techno to full on awesome. Keep making epic music.

who knows maybe you will replace the current nintendo orchestra composer when he dies lol.

lol I doubt I'd replace Kondo, but thank you for the compliment. =)

"amazing"

the song of time vocal at the end was a good touch to this

Author's Response:

Thanks. Actually, when I composed this, I decided last-minute to go ahead and add that in there (pulled it from another piece ("Going Back") and pitch-shifted it to the appropriate key), and I felt it was a good touch as well.

I'm glad you like it, and thank you for the feedback.

"Fantastic as always!"

I love the Hero Of Time Soundtrack, just a mindblowing reimagining of my favourite Zelda tunes. 9/10 as there was some slight crackle from the bass drums at the beginning and then at the end. Full respect for the vocal part and using a (live?) orchestra though

October 30, 2009

Author's Response:

Actually, that must've been your speakers. I'm using a surround sound system with a sub woofer to mix with, and the piece plays 100% clear on my system. Those bass booms likely are a bit much on more conventional systems that aren't meant for studio, but I always make sure my sound doesn't peak (I have addons that cap off all audio output at 0.0db).

And no, the orchestra isn't live (although the vocalist is). God I wish it was, but I don't quite have those resources as a broke college student. All the music is virtual and composed within a MIDI environment, but I do my best to make it sound as real as I can.

Thank you for the feedback; it is greatly appreciated! =)

"Chilling."

Some of the best music compiled into one, with a full orchestral sound. Simply amazing.

Author's Response:

Thank you. It was actually quite a bit of fun to sit down and compose for this trailer given that I did it over a year after I completed the film's score.
