Yeah, so this now a WIP and my new style?

YEAH SO WORK IN PROGRESS!

Yes this song was sampled from Reach Your Peak by Sister Sledge. I tried to go a Daft Punk approach to this song.

It's a WIP, not a full song yet. I'm still working on it. Sorry that i can't fulfill generic dance songs that most of you people like. Rage harder though, I could care less.

This defiantly has that daft punk house feel to it
also make the chorus enter in smoother because the intro just dissappeared out of no where, disrupts the flow. Alittle fixing of the sounds and this while be the poo

Its funky, and its fresh... you kept both your promises, promised by the title of the song.

An inviting and accompanying house sound here. Love the guitar, love the drums and adore the bass. Idk if they are all loops... idk if are all loops at all, i just know that this shit is catchy! ;)

only the jazz/funk guitar is a loop and one percussion loop in the beginning, everything else including the bass guitar is mine*

Sounds like VEH to me. TBH it needs more of your own flare/melodies, all it is is a sampled loop and a drumloop over it. Also please don't compress your track so much, I can barely hear the kick drum. AND it doesn't loop well.
On the other hand, it is well sampled. The sample loops perfectly. Well done finding that sample man! Nice groove going on, and I can definitely hear the Daft Punk vibe in this.

the beginning FX is the only VEH sample i used, besides the drums and one loop with the percussion. when the phunk phunky stuff comes in the drums are actually a simple kick hi hat snare 4x4 rythm, no loops there. i put this under loop because its not really a song but more like a loop in my opinion. and yeah it took me about 2 hours to get the sample to fit with the BPM after messing around with the tempo and pitch.
