"Yeah, edvard grieg would definetely dance to this!"

date: November 2, 2009

Not only would he dance but he'd probably shatter into a million pieces with shaking and twirling so much, adn even then, his tiny molecules would still dance along.

well, it was always my opinion taht the Hall of the Mountain King got a bit repetive in the original but u definetely did a lot more then the original in this. Its fantastic in my opinion. background is great, drum beat is great, melody gets repetitive but i'm not gonna reduce any marks for that seeing as its repetive in the orignal.

Overall, its a varied and interesting piece. fantastic work. Keep it up!

"Drive me on the roller coasters!"

What a great mix - I love the classic sound of In the Hall of the Mountain King, by Grieg. It's something that makes a very nice change from the original and takes the sound to the newer audience. Even more so than for the Theme Park adverts, you've brought this to a new level, almost reinventing the track for the genre.

The pace seems faster than the normal track, which drives it through, without sounding rushed. Perhaps I could suggest that you stop the classical root of the track in the middle and go out there with some of your own personal flair, making the remix your own. Something like a sound of a rocket (firework) flying by and then do some sort of solo for a flourish.

"Edvard Grieg would..."

no, he wouldn't turn in his grave, but rather dance in his grave if he could listen to this.

I like how you played around with the main theme to add your own style into this. It also adds a lot of varity to the song as it can get rather annoying to hear the "hall of the mountain king" melody over and over again.

I also like the hard beats in the background. They add a very special, halloweeen like atmosphere to the track.

"Always good to mention that the theme..."

date: October 30, 2009

wasn't originally yours. Since sadly there are people out there who wouldn't know that the song used has been around for hundreds of years probably.

There is obvious work put into it, but it feels like more could be done. Especially with using Hall of the Mountain King as the theme. It's been done, probably to death, and needs a bit of refreshing.

Since this song consists of much more than just that part used, maybe pull other parts from the song, or even other songs, if you're going to use classical pieces in your works.

Keep up the work! =3
