"couple of things"

first of all, you really need some drums! That's major. I listened the entire time waiting for some drums to drop, but they never really did (not including the timpani like drums at the end). Also add in some counter melodies and more layers.

"Good start."

It's a start.
First thing is of course to add some more instruments during the melody, add some drums after a couple of sequences, and then add some Orchestral Violins to make the melody more powerful after some point.
You can make a break in the melody, where nothing plays and except for maybe a Hi Hat, and then blast the song with all the instruments to make it a powerful emotion within the song.
Then it'll become very much better.
