Electronic - Trance

Author Comments

A radioactive trance song breeds with a minimalistic speedcore song and thus my jumpstyle was born. Only problem is that it's contaminated with AIDs. Fricken AIDs.

P.S. I'm a review trader to my fellow musicians here on NG.

It's one of the more original trance pieces I have heard on NG. That alone deserves my respect. There was something about the intro that put a big smile on my face. I love the buildup.

That aside, I will have to agree with a lot of the commentators here that the kick's a bit harsh. Also, the end does sound like it's winding down, but it also seems like it belongs in a midway pause in the piece -- after which you start cranking the music up again after that, but with more power and more complexity.

I loved listening to this. Thank you for sharing this! ^_^

Not bad.

Personally I think it should be a bit longer. It ends far too quickly. Other than that, this is a great song. I wouldn't mind hear more of this in the future. True thing, tho...the hard kick isn't deep enough. It goes good with the song however, and I say instead of replacing it, maybe add another longer lasting drum behind it. That's my opinion. Use it as you will.

Breed responds:

I am currently extending the piece as you requested. The kick will be improved but not likely by that method. Thanks for the input! Cheers!

This song made me think of tribal techno. 9/10

Breed responds:

I did use African and Indian percussion. I try to make sure to have at least one tribal aspect in all my songs. Thanks for the review! Cheers!

Nice Job

I agree with SteakJohnson in that it seems empty in a few parts and could be filled up nicely with a pad or something to that effect. Otherwise it was a wonderful song. I see it was made on an old computer that could barely handle the project file. I'd remix this if I were you (if your current computer can handle it). The hard kick that is used through most of the song is a tad too short for some parts. If you edited it, added a slight echo, or found a longer hard kick and integrated that into the song, it's go quite nicely. A little toying with glitch VSTs such as dblue or perky could definitely give a nice result if you modified just a few samples here and there and added a tad of glitch.
If you choose not to remix this, I'd actually love to try my hand at it. You should definitely drop me a PM with that decision.

You will receive a PM in exactly 5 minutes and 26 seconds

Despite the AIDS,

it's a good song and could be great if you worked on it some more.

Breed responds:

Thanks mate, I would work on it more, but I have about 30 other unfinished songs I really should put my attention to =P
