ROSE V - AT MERIDIEM [rendered @ 192 kbit].
-------------------------

I think for the most part the Rose songs were inspired by 16-32 bit RPG fight and boss tracks. I figured this time I'd upgrade the overall quality and arrangement so it would sounds a bit like modern RPG fight themes, like Playstation and Playstation 2 RPG's! It's not exactly classic Rose, it's more like modern Rose or something. XD

It's also the first one I went with a DNB style as well, after four of them having had mostly rock-esque percussion I figure it was time for a change. I think it's healthy to experiment every now and then, don't you think? I also cut the intro to make it loop better, but I'm not so sure about how it loops yet. It works for now, at least. ;p

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

Feels intense

I love ed the sound that came in at 0:11, 0:23 is a bit less my style of music, but at 1:09 it gets very awesome. That sound, like a flute or something, no idea what it is, but its sounds very cool and clear throughout. comes back at 1:42 also. Amazing work here, :D

The tunes are a bit different...

But the overall feel for the music as a Rose, never changed. It's more mellow than others, but it still doesn't deter the theme. But the use of orchestral instruments is excellent. Despite the fact that I am not familiar with Meridiem. I guess this will be the beginning of a new series of rose. I hope to hear more soon.

NemesisTheory responds:

True! I actually kind of agree it more sounds like a normal battle theme than a boss theme after having listened to it myself a few times in a row now, but it still sounds RPGish indeed. :)

I explained the word Meridiem a few reviews below, basically it's latin for noon. :P

Thanks for the review!
