... Flaming.

No real into to speak of, pretty repetitive, and a horrible ending. Not that I'd really expect anyone to listen all the way to the end.

But I haven't uploaded anything in a while, so I figured I'd put something up.

"Flamboyent"

date: October 23, 2009

Although the melody is simple and repeatative, it's still okay. But I've been jamming to a lot of eighties pop songs lately so if I say it's good than that really isn't saying much. As for the ending... it ended how it began, flaming.

"Good one!"

date: October 16, 2009

Sounds very nice, what with the whole hypnotic/mysterious feel. I like the buildup in the beginning; it sets the mood pretty well.

It's also not THAT repetitive...at least until about 1:54, when you start repeating the first part. In my opinion, it would've been great if you'd inserted the ending (which isn't bad at all) there and just ended the song right after. It sounds like the end would've matched up slightly better with 1:54 too.

Still, nice work!

Author's Response:

I actually thought about ending it earlier, but then it sounded far too short and kind of anti-climactic to me.

I did spend quite a lot of time on this, despite the fact that I don't like the main melody a whole lot. Most of the time spent on it was mixing and using synths and bass that worked well together. I had the whole thing planned out for the most part, it was mostly just a matter fine tuning instruments.

"Well..."

date: October 16, 2009

To say the truth: I liked it.
Sounded good and the instruments fitted well together.
I liked melody, although it was (as you wrote) a bit repetitive.
And the end wasn't horrible.
I think it was creative.
4/4

I'm honestly surprised. I was expecting this to get either no reviews or bad ones.

Thanks.
