So yeah, I've been working on this for today. Blazing, going with the flow.

It's a demo. I'll extend this over the weekend, going to add some nice saxophone melodies maybe and more variation.

Enjoy. :-)

"Well, it's certainly relaxing..."

date: October 26, 2009

However, its my opinion that its a bit too repetive. Hopefully you'll improve this when u put up the whole thing.

Drum pattersn weren't varied at all and they did tend to get somewhat annoying at times. But still, its a good concept for a song and the full version should come out quite great. Basically, this is a relaxing song which should be heard when ur angry or fed up. It'd relax u immiedetely...

Oh shi-, I totally missed this review before. Sorry for responding so late.

Full version is nearing completion, drums are slightly altered, more melody variations and some extra sounds for variety. Now for a good ending, hehe...

Thanks for the review!

"Tranquil"

An interesting track that seems a little repetitive, when it comes to the beat, but it's still soothing and it calms the mind, while allowing for the expression to continue forward, giving a deep sense of relief and bliss.

If you could come up with another bass riff or two, just to break the monotony of this track it would be much appreciated. At 2. 25, it's a good length, improved by the presence of a loop, so you're doing well already. Taking it to that next step is always a plus and I'd hope to see you doing that in the near future.

Author's Response:

Aye, it is a bit repetitive right now, but it is only the fundament of the whole track. I doubt I'll be changing the bass riffs, but there will be more instruments and melodies to keep the listener entertained.

The 'next step' is coming up this week. Full version will be a bit longer, it'll loop with some more flow and it'll have more variation.

Thanks for the review! :-)

"Relaxing"

date: October 20, 2009

You have some very nice melodies in this song and it's pretty groovy, especially that melody that can be heard at 1:13.

Also, the song is really relaxing. I closed my eyes and listened to this a few times in a row, because it really helped me to relief my stress after a pretty tough day. :)

But I think there should be a few more elements in the song to make it a bit more interesting. Maybe some voice samples would be great. Just a male voice that says some random things would already do the trick.

Author's Response:

Haha, glad I could help you relief your stresses. :D

Some more effects and such would help, but I'm currently really working on some saxophone/trumpet melodies. Already have it planned out to give it a bit more of a jazzy feeling.

I've thought about vocals too, but I'm not to sure if it would work. I was going to try it out, but my microphones out of order at the moment so I guess I'll leave it out.

Thanks for the review!

I probably listened to this song 2 and a half times, probably more like 3 and a half after I'm done writing this review. It was very relaxing and something that you can really just sit back and calm down.

Like you've said to make this better I would add a bit to it. It was a bit simple and didn't really have a lot going on at any given time. It also gets a bit repetitive so adding some variety would help a lot. Looks like you already know what to do to make it better, but as it is now it's a very calm and relaxing song.
