interesting!
its very good! but why was it labeled with drum & bass when its more of a techno style with some piano?
Update: yay! front paged!
Welp, anyone who downloaded the original back when it was up probably won't notice any difference between this one and the old one, but I promise I did things to it. Again, I need to give credit to Sorohano. I used some of his trumpet samples in there as pads in the background. If you squint your ears, you can hear them under heavy reverb/ pitch bends. Check out the guy in the newgrounds store:

I bought his album and I love the shit out of it. I might have to go and animate something to one of his songs now out of tribute. The guy's account got hacked recently. He lost his modship, a ton of important emails and a bit of money/ job opportunities. Send the guy some love or something.

uhhh, techno is a four to the floor genre while dnb is typical of it's break beats and bpm. This websites fallen behind but you'll have fun if you check it out: http://techno.org/electronic-music-gu ide/
Can i use the term ear squinting?
I don't care what people say, ear squinting makes perfect sense...kinda...
Anywho, call me mental but I think it could use one more layer in some points...please don't listen to me...
I think that same thing when I hear a lot of pro tracks. I love complexity in music, but I have a lot of friends that prefer minimalism. Some prefer pop. One thing I've found is that in an attempt to make everyone happy, you usually make no one happy but yourself.
More layers? Right or wrong, it's fair input and I'll consider it in future projects :)
Sweet

"FIRE ZEH LAZORZZ!!"
Very cool.
Definitely DL-worthy. Love the chaotic feel of it.
And.... ear squinting? XD
How come everyone thinks I'm crazy when I bring up ear squinting?
Potential
While at times repetitive, the percussion was pretty darn good and I really enjoyed the hats/tambs (pretty much all the highs) in this thing. I can actually hear the pads without squinting and I cannot imagine how someone could squint their ears... (Come on, seriously? Squinting your EARS?)
But I digress. I think this could use some more variation or just be a bit longer. It seems to me it's a bit short, a bit... over-before-it-started. And this song can do so much more than start - with a just a little work.
One last remark, the bassline sounds a bit out of place - perhaps matching loudest frequencies to the percussion (not entirely, of course) could help. I can't exactly put my finger on it but I think it needs help.
I hope I have been constructive and in no way offensive. Keep up the good work. :-)
Ear squinting is essential.
