(Slow buildup, but with heavy drums and orchestrations in the middle. Stick around!)

This was originally made for the Blizzard song contest...but I was 12 hours late and was unable to submit it. (Can you imagine what I could have possibly misread? XD). As the original contest rules said it could be no longer than 2:00, I had to keep it fairly short - this version ends more naturally at around 2:06 or something.

I pulled inspiration from my first days of playing World of Warcraft on my Tauren druid...the opening section leans on the instrumentation of Mulgore and Thunder Bluff, then leaps into how I felt the first time I realized how huge the game really is and how amazing it was to fly from one section to another without loading screens. It was a long time ago, but I still get nostalgic about it from time to time.

I am uploading this tune in the hopes of showing the sort of orchestration and soundtrack-ish style of music I most enjoy composing, so that perhaps someone here may be interested in some original music for their animation. Toss me a line! :)

Great work. I think that you've nailed the 'feeling of discovery'. It's a shame that you missed the contest.

Great composition

I really enjoyed it. Especially 'teh epic part' (0:50-1:26). Unfortunately, 0-bombers have completely destroyed your chance of exposure... 5/5 & 10/10

Thanks very much! Not horribly worried about exposure, it'd be nice, but Newgrounds' current genres hinder it enough already. I also think I have a nice little twirp who I pissed off my first day here rating everything down for me...keeps me humble, yanno. :)
But I'm rambling... I appreciate your review, thank you!
