This is probably take #7 trying to just lay down a 'finished' track using some themes that i've been kicking around for a while.

It's dead simple. One track. Kinda shitty, but whatever.

you lack self-cofidence - stop beating yourself up - modesty only goes so far. I think you are really good - especially at acoustic - so chin up and keep churning out stuff!

from a production standpointthe recording qualityi s really good too - a little bit of volume noise in the bg but it kinda adds to that "live" feel - you should think abotu doing more live stuff :)

It's tough to maintain confidence in the face of some of the talents I know/listen to.

This was a quick recording, I threw on some vinyl simulation to add a certain sort of ambiance.

Sniffing?! is that part of the song? :P...

Lol, ignore my title... I only want to say that this is a great piece of music and ur obviously very talented with the guitar. Only three things could make this better. Lyrics, drums and more instruments (not to mention the lack of sniffing :P)...

Overall, its still a well thought out piece with good quality recvording and overall well thought out work.. Keep it up!

Chilled accoustics

I think that what you really need to lose is the sound of you sniffing just before you start playing :P

But in all seriousness, you are a pretty talented musician. Perhaps the use of a metronome would help you with the timing, as the pace of the track just seems to be something that you move about with a little too much.

I'd consider moving this forward by adding lyrics, as the track on its own is brilliant, but if you added lyrics, it would be awesome.

loansindi responds:

But i like the sniff!

A lot of the tempo's fluidity is intentional, I don't think solo guitar pieces can work with a rigid tempo, they get boring. That said, I'm sure the range could be tighter.

Lyrics are definitely planned. Thanks for the review.
