"The Hero of Time" Soundtrack Release #5:
The Fate of Hyrule

for the film "The Hero of Time" by BMB Finishes
Website: http://www.theherooftime.
com

Music Composed by George R. Powell

BMB Finishes decided to not release the full track just yet of "Going Back" (as stated on the website), but instead decided to release a piece that will NOT be on the Official Soundtrack tracklist when the Official Soundtrack is released ("Going Back" is on the Official Release tracklist, so no worries). So this is the only way you guys will get this piece. I hope you enjoy it. =)

"Forget Lucas..."

George Powell is the new name to remeber!

Seriously, you have such artistic talent, I think you could easily get into a big-budget movie and get paid for making the music for it.

This song itself, sound both happy and sad at the same time, to me, like it's celebrating a renewal after a death. And at the same time, it sounds like the death is happening. Very well-composed piece, and deserves all ten stars I give it!

With each new piece you guys release, I keep wanting to see this more and more... When will you guys be around the midwest area, if you haven't already? I'd so pay to go to the stuff you guys do.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review, and the encouragement. I know they're submitting the film to the Tri-City Independent Fan-Film Festival in Pasco, WA (which I just looked and that happened yesterday -_-), but they're also doing a screening in Los Angeles, CA on November 14th. At that screening, they'll announce the worldwide online release.

For this piece, it takes place during a very long dialogue (which is why the music doesn't sound driving), and it's actually the dialogue that drives the music and its mood-changes.

Again, thanks for the feedback. =)

"Nice Work!"

Once again you have proven yourself to be a great composer. Amazing work on blending the familiar works from the Zelda series into your own unique piece flawlessly and seamlessly. A shame it won't be on the Official release soundtrack, it will be a sorely missed addition.

Author's Response:

That's actually why I nominated this piece for an early release, actually. The only reason for it not being on the Official Soundtrack release is because I had to make the tracklist long enough to fill one CD, and there is, all music included, over 90 minutes of music, and only 78 minutes are allowed, so I had to cut several pieces out, and this was one of the good ones that was unfortunately cut from that list.

But anyway, thank you for the encouragement. I do greatly appreciate it! =D

Author's Response:

Thanks. At the time I composed it, I felt like it was merely filler music for the scene it took place in, but it quickly grew on me and became one of my favorites from the score.

Thanks. I've waited nearly a year to be able to release these pieces from the score that took me 16 months to complete. I'm glad you guys enjoy them! =)
