I changed this song a bit from what it originally was. It's still got a very chip music feel to it, but my undecisive mind can never land in just one genre, and what came out was a silly hybrid chipmusic/happyhardcore/h ouse song.

The original intent was to have this song be a good one to use for flash games or flash movies, because it was supposed to be short, and loopable. Regardless, I still hope that someone will be able to find use for it! Give it about a minute to kick into the house song.

Happy listening!

"Enchanting, to say the VERY least."

date: October 13, 2009

And so we find our Hero, well into his journey. His Friends scattered, his love but only a castle away, and with diligent fervor he searches high and low, magic and Monsters abound and around each corner as he traverses deadly traps, searches out secret passages. He journey's through mystic splendor as the Moon lights his way were few a torch stand in hollow halls, his cries of her name echoing to the distant dark Lord of the castle, giving the feindish ruler his pleasure as he eyes the fair lady in a hungry way, whilst awaiting our hero's arrival to the throne room.

The Simple and soft build up to the energy, followed by a thriving few moments of tune and rhythm give that feeling of the classicaly endless cycle of Exploration, seeking of secrets, fighting of foes, and starting over, never knowing when the Next Climax will be the final showdown, bringing his search to a close, reuniting him his lady of affection flawlessly as this track's two ends meet.

Bravo my friend.

I think you've definitely taken the threshold of my favorite NG user. You better not think for one second that I haven't read your reviews multiple times in their entirety... sometimes even back to back!

You HAVE to promise me that if you ever make a game, or write a book that turns into a movie, you have to use at least one of my songs! It makes me so fulfilled and ecstatic that anyone is able to see scenarios through my songs! Thank you more than words can say!

"It's not the size that counts..."

...it's how you use it!

Nice song. I could see this used in a platformer. I love the old school vibe - keep on keepin' on.

I'm often very insecure of the size of my piano...
However, the show must go on.

"Pretty good, bro"

I like it. I would, however, suggest using the equalizer device on some of your instruments to make them sound a bit higher quality. Also, try extending it. It's a little too short right now, since the main part of the song is like 10 seconds long and then the buildup starts all over again. It's kind of disappointing.

Nice work though, it's good stuff. Check out my tunes?

Author's Response:

I changed it around a little bit, and re-eq'd every instrument. I'd love to know what you think of the new version. Took a turn towards house a bit, though!
