Ahh the memories....

Just like aquasabers comment below mine, I too have heard this song from Castlevania: Bloodlines for the Genesis & that game was so amazing in many ways.

I also agree completely with darkmagisters comment. Alot of the remakes are just techno & metal & many of them are horribly done, with some exceptions being pulled off & a few done well.
I think that the remakes that are classical & have the same genre & feel as the originals are the best & yes others who plan to remake castlevania songs should strongly take this song as an example of what a good remake is like.
VERY NICE

Memories...

I first heard this song in Castlevania:Bloodlines for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive. Of all the CV games I've played, that one brings back some of my best memories of the series growing up.

Anyway, this mix is very refreshing. I noticed in one of the other reviews that you responded by saying something to the effect of liking to keep these as accurate to the original as possible, but with a facelift(?)...

You win. You freakin' win.

A personal favorite!

A new favorite for me on newgrounds! Not only is the mix well thought out, but well executed! I could have listened to that for 2 more minutes! Keep up the good work!

Um, a small part from Zelda, please specify from where that part starts and where it ends. I am curious.

Anyway, thanks for your vote and comment.

No. #1 In My Book

Problem with most remakes of Castlevania music is its either Techno or Heavy Metal. Nice to see this is neither. Just hope people planning on making remakes of Castlevania music take notes from this.

Thanks a million.

Yes, i agree with you, most of them are Metal or Techno versions, i like em as close to the original as possible but with a n facial lift as to say wih new and maybe better instruments and of course my own touch to it as well.
