Author Comments

My first real attempt at writing a complete ensemble. Overall, success, much has been learned.

Quite the contrast to some of my other work.

------------------------

Edit: Song had far more clipping initially, altered some EQs, changed volume levels. Overall its a teeny bit more quiet, but the clipping is no longer present.

Also let my pc take the time to run a higher quality render, same Kbps rating though.

"So is it true or just ..."

date: November 11, 2009

Is it true or just a illusion of conscienceless? Conscious of everything? Conscious of life? Well I am Conscious of this melody and your ability to create such inspirational sound of spiritual winds of tranquil.

But true is that you are a great media song composer! :D

"For the Ending"

date: October 27, 2009

If you add a duplicated beginning onto the ending (keeping the natural pause/rest in you hear in song with loop on), it sounds really cool. It would finish out the song very nicely, and connect the beginning and end and just wrap it all up good. I just got the idea because the loop was on.

By the way, very cool, mysterious, adventure song, I loved the piano at the end, and if it's too abrupt or something, just listen to the end with loop on and you'll see what I mean (just shorten up the pause a bit that you hear while listening with loop, and then end it within the first 8 seconds of the duplicated beginning, wherever sounds the best).

Unless you were intending the song to have loop on in the first place. If that's the case, then never mind lol.

Anyway, 10/10.

Author's Response:

I'll certainly look into your suggestion.

I intended itto be a loop since I figured it would translate nicely for NG.

End is abrupt, writing this was a nightmare and I just wanted it to end to be quite honest. I'll probably come back and finalize something better, I'm hoping your suggestion fills that void.

"good job"

date: October 18, 2009

Good job with this one here man, really enjoyed listening to it. Though I must say that I liked the overall tone of the song, it was soft and somber, yet mysterious, really kept me on the edge of my seat waiting for a loud, fast part, suspenseful, good job with that. The beat here was good, didnt play a huge part in it but it was still audible. The melody here was good as well, like I said soft and somber, yet mysterious, good job with that. Excellent work here man, much different from your other pieces and yet still sounded great! 5/5 from me, keep up the good work! :)

Author's Response:

You've probably picked up dark/mysterious tones are prevalent in my work, I have troubles hitting 'happy' on the head.

Thanks for smothering me with reviews.
