It might be a little on the quiet side, but this is my first "official" submission to NG! written for the aforementioned orchestration contest by nathanallenpinard.

All critiques are very welcome!

Tied for 5th place!

Congrats to everyone, especially Robomanus!

Bits and pieces of this song sound like the main theme of Schlinder's List which is a horrificly sad film but the music is wonderous

that was great.

Such a wonderful melody. I just wish it was longer, it has some really good stuff in it. just seems to end right when it gets going and kind of abruptly at that. I'm also busy writing down a score to get played by a volunteer group her in nm. And it is experience saying I know how much work you must have put into this. Great work. 5/5

TheBenjerman responds:

Thank you! Although this was an orchestration contest, and I was required to use a pre-existing melody by nathanallenpinard.

I appreciate it!

It's music like this that brings me back to my senses.

The tops!

Hey, great submission there, TheBenjerman. I really liked it, it's quite soothing. Only if the piece was extended a little further with a good melody and an extended intro... Anyway, still looks good to me! Will look forward to your upcoming submissions!

TheBenjerman responds:

Thank you kindly, good sir! I agree with the melody and intro. I was a little rushed before the contest ended, and ended up spending more time orchestrating.
