Probably my best remix yet. I listened to it by ear, and added my own notes to it, as you'll hear rather easy.

Differences from my past mix?

- Extra mastering.
- Rain and thunder sounds
- Choir added
- Flute added
- More notes added
- Different intros and outros.

Anyways, letme know your thoughts. I really do want to know what you think of it.

If you review this I'll review a song of yours, so we have a fair trade, but I want more then a "Cool song, review mine." Type of review.

Anyways, yes. Letme know your thoughts please!

"Incredible!"

It's funny, I was actually going to do a remake of this classic song, but more rock oriented. I love the intro, with the rain fading out into the music. That was a great start to a great song. The piano, while repetitive worked well for me - I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't know if that was a kick-drum, or lightning in the background during most of the sound, but it was a nice little addition. It really filled out the song. Overall, the song was an outstanding remake that I could imagine in a film version of the series. I would've liked to see a few areas, though, that had more filled out sound... Great job, man!

As for the song I would like you to listen to, and give me your thoughts on, would be 'Cybor.G'. I have it classified as ambient, but it's sound is so different that I could've also classified it as Trance, or Industrial.

Once again, great song. Can't wait to hear some morestuff from you!

Author's Response:

The "Drum" you hear is a timpani, and there is some thunder, but that's mainly at the ending and beginning.

I'm glad you enjoyed this, and hope you make your rock version of this. I would be most elated to see this in a film, but I highly doubt it.

I'll make sure to review your music!

Check out some more of my stuff if you will, I have much more out then just this.

Thanks for the review!

"I though it was going to be like Sound of Silence"

Nice piano throughout and a very interesting introduction, that put me in the mind of Simon and Garfunkel's Sound of Silence.

The piano could have stood to do a lot more, with the simple loop repeating almost ad infinitum. With the way that it progresses, you've got a good range ofg instruments that get themselves into the tune, but the piano is the main stumbling block. More things with the piano sooner would certainly help the track to sound much improved.

A nice almost requiem-like string backing, which could possibly take it further than you have at present.

Hmmm... I like you're review, and your choice of words. Haha.

Glad that you like it, and I can understand that the piano get's repetitive, that's why it takes a bit to fade in, and leaves a bit later.

Thanks for the review :)

"Ah yes"

Now this is what I like about talent. You take a piece that's been remixed a hundred times, and still make it sound fresh, impressive and inovative. The only thing I missed in this was a climax. The place where it all comes together in a big "bang", blowing you away by the sheer awesomeness.

"Good"

I don't know the original, but I guess it's from one of the many Zelda games, right?

Anyway, I think this sounds pretty awesome. Especially the strings together with the piano create a very nice atmosphere. Together with the added rain and storm effects I get the feeling that I'm sitting in my warm home with a cup of hot chocolate (or tea) while outside it is storming and raining (which it has a lot in the last few days where I live ^^).

Oh, and I wouldn't bother with reviewing my audio submissions, they aren't very good at all (and one of them is a "cover" of John Cages "4'33"", so there can't be heard anything in the first place. ^^).
