Electronic - Drum N Bass

Author Comments

Hi, I'm Stupor...but I didn't always go by this name. As some of you might know, I was originally "Steak89". I made some pretty terrible songs on that account, but there was one that I found particularly catchy and creative. So, being the drastically improved artist I am now, I remade the song into a slightly deeper, more complex version.

This also marks my first step into the world of Drum N Bass music, especially the drums. Pretty fun genre, in my opinion.

So, please rate and review! Here's a link to the original song: /audio/listen/261094

Well, its not bad. The annoying voice didn't actually help though. It also got quite repetitive throughout. The drum didn't chagne a lot and drums always need more variety.

This isn't a bad DnB song though even though u put in a piano at the end...

The one thing whihc got ur pts up most is the piano melody cos it was qutie good as we all know how hard making a piano solo is....

I got your PM, I know what you meant. Remember this is a remix of one of my older songs, so I was following the pattern of the vocals. Thanks for the review!

Nice beat

A pretty good song with a very nice very staccato-like beat. The high pitched vocals fit astonishingly well to the very deep bass, even though a little more variation would have been nice here.

The melodies that can be heard later in the song are good as well, but they are too quiet. They are overpowered by the main beat which sounds a bit strange.

You mean the piano? I can see how that would be drowned out, thanks for noticing that.

Needs more vocals

A nice effort that has certainly got a good beat and melody sound to it, but personally, I feel that it requires a little more in the vocal sample department. Perhaps alternative vocal samples would help, rather than just playing with the pitch of the sound itself?

I think that the beat is nice and controlled and it blends in nicely with the piano, as the song shifts to the second phase. I think that this could be extended a little, with additional piano variation and perhaps an additional "sock it to me" thrown in there just to remind the listeners. Perhaps a deeper one, maybe an American accent of some sort - New York would be good, for the pseudo Italian in there.

Thanks for the review -- I only had one vocal sample because that's how it was in my original... but now I see that people like the vocals!

A better loop than it is a song isn't it? I just think that because you actually never end the song at all and it actually loops pretty well.

The use of vocals were pretty good in the beginning, but without anymore in the rest of the song I was almost let down a little bit. I felt that there could have been some more sock it to me vocals later in the song, but perhaps with some different effects such as a deeper/more drawn out version of it later or in the middle of the song.

Pretty interesting song all around though and pretty decent.

Thanks! I guess it could be a loop, it is a bit short...
