The part where you introduce the bass and the drums was somewhat dirty at first. But that's just because you introduced them all at once. As well, that saw that you have in the middle (between 1:30 and 2:15) seemed kind of out-of-place in a few areas at first, but listening to it again, its good where it is.
Argh! The saxophone. At first it cuts like a knife into the mood of the song. Well, I guess it provides a little contrast. It's good that you don't put it in the entire song.
You really put a lot of themes into this song, didn't you. Right now I'm listening to around the 6:50 part, and it sounds like a fanfare is going on. Either that, or it's a zone in Mario that's some sort of tropical paradise. It continues on to about 9:00... really?
It cuts off perfectly, though.
Your songs are pretty good.
5/5 and 93/100[D]. I'm guessing that the version you have here is absurdly low quality?
A suggestion for the future, have some drums in the first part. Your one-layer section at the beginning sounds kind of bad when you give it reverb. Save those for the end.
Also, I should make a game out of this. One of those airplane shooter games like Raiden. You have the airplane in space, and the density and type of the aliens increases or decreases with the volume, instrumentation, and theme of the music.
