This is alright. I'm not sure how it's house though, I don't hear a drop of house in it at all. I don't really like the strings in the beginning, coupled with the beat that started out good, but the snare started going all over the place, and the you made the kick go four to the floor for some reason..Turn down the hats some, or at least reduce their mids..and turn that sub bass down, alot. At 1:04 and beyond it's waayyy too loud. 2:05 and past needs a lot of work. The beat has no flow and I don't dig the notes at all. Normally I'm not this critical but I was looking through your reviews, and well, yeah.

Its not house, but its not anything on the list really. I felt like not hitting Misc for once.

Yes I come across as a hard ass in most of my reviews, gets people answers. :P

I agree with you on nearly everything you said, drums all over the place, this is relatively tame.

Thanks for the good review!

around :29 i felt the synths levels were quiet and somewhat confusing, also as the synth continued i felt like certain frequencies in the mid range were being eaten up and interfering.

the bass was appropriately placed in its spectrum space just well enough to be effective.

at 1:44 was my favorite part, i felt it gave the song the most character.
i also enjoyed your reversed kick sample.

i enjoyed your panning on the high hats, i felt like they were not predictable and kept up excitement

Big hug fest it is tonight. I keep reviewing and getting reviews from everyone else that's just recently submitted songs.

Thanks for the review, I agree some of the sections in the song are sloppy. I wanted to put emphasis on the synths however granted their all twiddled with by me (no presets not no how not never).

1:44~ sliding section turned out quite nicely. I'm glad you feel its the focal point of the song.

Always nice hearing my attention to detail doesn't go totally unnoticed. Panned drums are king.

very well done man. I love the synths you used and the automations between the melody to gates are well done.

check out my new song Galactic Obligations if you get the chance.

I'll check Galactic Obligations if I am blessed to have the chance. (Pretty sure I am infact blessed.)

Pleased you enjoyed the automations on the synths, I'm happy with how they turned out, though its a peculiar reminder how such a simple trick can add so much depth to a song.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Unless I'm mistaken I reviewed Rez Hits prior to your review of this. Funny how that worked out.

Thanks for dropping me a line, I'm thrilled (not really but it looks good in a review to say that) that you enjoyed this.

In the future I'll probably be posting more acid-ambient-house, I may link you in the future.
