The acting was well done, but it didnt sound like they were speaking to eachother because it was a bit monotone. The range was great, because the spanish guy was very well done. THe comic relief guy sounded ridiculous. just as he was supposed to. The chef, however, didnt really match his character. He kept pausing like that guy in star trek lol. It was an original character, I didnt really understand just exactly who he was hehe. I laughed when you kept using the same loop for each character and then immediately switching to another loop that matched the current character talking. Good mixing skills. HOWEVER for some reason each character was either in the right speaker or in the left speaker. This made the listening annoying. You should always make all voices throught the lfet AND right speakers for listening pleasure.

This is a peculiar one! The Spanish/Latino voice was fantastic and the doctor's voice was very funny. The comic relief was a bit odd and a little misplaced but overall, this piece was very well done and displayed a good range. Great story, very original and brilliant use of sfx and music with each character having their own theme song. Great work!

so i think gaia may be wrong... sounds more like that captain from star trek.
first.. i am TOTALLY IMPRESSED by your FANTASTIC spanish-latino style accent. that is a FANTASTIC and unique voice! that i instantly fell in love with.

okay so on with the review!

firstly... WHERE is the rest of your voice? i heard the quiet version, but the expressive version was pretty much absent.. although this was perhaps submitted in a rush and you had people asleep...none the less i would have been more impressed if you expressed your voice in more expressive manners including playing with emotions that effect the volume of your voice.
Your weird jeff goldbloom-william shatner cross breed voice was quite funny and has some nice use of tone and pitch! funny and witty use of language, quite in character! suggesting your talents lie in writing as well as performing!

Your spanish voice was sinister, suggestive and very charming ( to ladies i mean). again the script worked with the well soothed voice, that was just so natural.. i believe you could actually get away with using that voice in real life. you would fool me.
it is the best voice i have heard on newground. i mean it.

AND THEN!!!!!!!!
you introduced the third charcter.
who was really quite uninteresting and very .. samey. i have heard that voice everywhere, and it is hard to come across someone who has something Different up there sleeve.
only advice on this voice is use a different one in the future that is an adaption of that voice... add some more qualities to it to make the voice more exciting or unique. :D

overall i can just say your talent in this field is wonderful! VERY VERY good work here. BUT IN THE FUTURE- silly wabbit, WHISPERING is for kids. :D
i ABSOLUTELY ejoyed this one. cant wait for your sub in the next competition! :D

Great job, Man! The musical background went well with the skit too. I thought it was a great definitive touch, that with each voice changing, the music changed along with it, as well. It was good to hear someone who wasn't in last month's contest. Well, it's moreso exciting, I guess. New voices, new ideas, new characters. heh heh heh I'll have to go check out your page and see what else you have posted in your audio portal gifts, to NG.
Your mixing is good stuff. Pretty solid.
I wish you the best of luck, in the competition, CPS! Maybe you and I will end up working on something together, sometime. *shrugs* Who knows?
