EDIT: the loop is ruined, but i'm showing where i'm taking the song now at the end. approve?

i'm still in the early stages of this song. there isn't much variation and only 2 synths and a drum line in total, yeah, i know. dont worry, it wont be like that by the end. but the musical idea is there, so posting away.

i may add vocals if i can think up some good lyrics for this. my voice aint too bad, i've mixed vocals before, and i figure its about time to get a decent mic.

existence is simple. existence is emotional. emotion simply doesnt have to be complex.

that being said, leave comments! production, how i should go on from here, etc.

Hmm... it sounds pretty good the way it is right now, actually. The drum pattern fits with the bass and the lead well enough that I think there isn't much of a problem with it.

And I give way too many 5/5's... but this one deserves it.

84/100.

This is actually one of the cooler submissions i've heard that's been submitted to this EP. As to the user below me, i do not think it needs more bass, it works fine as is. That echo-ing bell (?) ish sound is actually really cool, but i would try Eq-ing it a bit, it gets a bit harsh at some times. Still, you did good, nothing is really out of place...

Nice! 9/10 and 5/5. Good work man, i could totally see this on the album! :D

"its not bad"

but not good either. so for when you start work on it heres my take:

1. id say it needs alot more bass
2. try switching the synths focal points seems like your bg synth was in the fg(foreground)
3. triplet snares and a melow tom would fit in well...least i think so
4. the way you have it try adding a tsugaru you might be suprised
