This is just a song I wrote to help me express my spiritual frustrations. I know God is talking to me, but I can't seem to hear him these days. All I can do is pray and wait for him...

I don't care if my voice cracks all the time when I sing, I'm just getting tired of waiting for something to happen. If anyone else wants to take a crack at this song, I'll be more than happy to send the source file over.

Capo 5th Fret

Em
Cur mei domini? / Why my Lord?

Am G F#
Cur mei domini? / Why my Lord?

Supplico ad tu sine exauditios / I pray to you without a favorable answer

Cur tu taciturnum? / Why are you silent?

Estne mei culpi? / Am I to blame?

Estne mei culpi? / Is it my fault?

Ignosce si est / Forgive me if it is

Et ignosce imprudentia / And forgive my ignorance

Fui remaneo supplicare / I will continue to pray

Dum tenebra est lucida / Until the darkness is light

"Amazing..."

The voice cracks you mention are really the only thing to find fault in, and even then they just kinda work with the honesty of the song. This is really beautiful, and not the sort of thing that finds its way onto Newgrounds often.

I just went from a song about a murderous ice cream man to something that was less than appropriate to a sudden and jarring prayer because I felt compelled to click some random link on the recent list. This may not be the most flawless, but it is definitely the best song I've heard all night. If that makes sense.
