Well I started this for a Dubstep competition but I ended up abandoning it because I didn't know how to turn these 4 bars into a full song. I seem to be good at making these little loops, I wish someone would use them in a game or something (HINT HINT)

This is my first time attempting Dubstep, I've never even made Drum N Bass either and there's also the fact that I don't even listen to Dubstep or really like that many songs of this genre. So making this was a challenge, but really fun. I did it in my own unique way and I'm really happy with it. To any Dubstep fans I would greatly appreciate your advice in case I decide to foray deeper into Dubstep territory ;)

Also I made this on headphones using an analyzer to keep the sub frequencies in check. But I have no idea how this will sound on a subwoofer, it's really compressed so just a warning, it might be really loud!

First, it sounds great on my sub. The fact that you haven't delved into this genre until you made this loop is fascinating. I'd love to hear how you take this loop and tend to it until its a full song. I have no doubt in my mind that you could be in the top 3 the next dubstep contest. Keep at it and keep it up!

Thanks a lot for the ego boost :D I didn't have a plan at first, I did a lot of experimenting here and I just threw out the stuff that wasn't working and kept what sounded good. Next time hopefully I'll have it more planned out in my mind and I can take it to a full song. And if you make another contest I'll try to join it if I have time.
