this is a rough intro of a new song in the works. could definitely use some advice!

UPDATE: 8/10/2009 : added more to it, seems a tad fuller now. i KNOW it's not eqed very well, and i havent learned yet to do the filters i want, so its pretty bare.

"Pretty cool"

but the lead is really loud and makes everything offbalance. you should also try adding some delay to it to stretch the sound out. also, maybe filter and eq the bass if not already. Other than that all i can suggest is add in more sounds to make it a more full song.

i'm still learning how to do the filters and eq and whatnot. youtube tutorials are teaching me a great deal lol. i will be sure to learn those things so that i can follow your advice! thanks for the help so far. planning on working on it some more this week. i will be sure to check out your stuff as well. thanks for the listen!!! "It's coming along.."

I think you were going for an empty, spacy kind of feel for this song. If you did, you should add a bit of reverb to make if feel... spacey... otherwise its really nice =D
