Took an old 5 second loop I made and slowed the BPM, then did a progression with it. I like how it turned out.
Used FL studio 8.

Like the random factor
This is cool, I know a lot of people say "do this" and "do that" but I say just fiddle around with the program, I personally like to use delay to give some heft to the drums and synth. You can do a lot of pretty cool stuff once you link your samples to the built in mixer.
