This is my version of the theme created for the First Orchestration Contest 2009 by Nathan Allen Pinard. Although I created this, I will NOT be submitting this to the contest for my own reasons.
:)
Good luck to everyone who is in the contest! There are some superb compositions entered by talented musicians! To anyone who is interested you can follow the contest in the audio forums here!

I pictured a hero who can't give up. One who is determined to do what he must no matter the cost. Though he is in excruciating pain, he still has the will to go on, and can honestly feel that presence rising to the occasion. Beautiful song.

Amazing!
Amazing!
I entered the competition, but some how missed hearing this. It's so awesome hearing where you took the theme! Very awesome action/dramatic music.

Impressive
This is a truly magnificent piece, I really enjoy listening to it :D
However, I do think that it in some parts resembles robomanus' "Justice Day" somewhat. Not a very lot, but enough for one to notice (if one knew the other piece, that is).
It doesn't make it any less brilliant though :)
Hey AtokNiiro, thats because Justice Day was a part of the same contest, it was a theme created by Nathan Allen Pinard, the contest was to create a piece of music around the theme.

Scene-setting Masterpeice
I could place this in an number of games in my collection, from God of War and Prince of Persia, to an epic game of Tetris. This song has the vibe of struggle, constantly moving with and against itself, as any well orchestrated piece should.
